Ratapani wildlife sanctuary, situated within the vindhyachal hills passing through raisen and Sehore districts of Madhya Pradesh, is one of the good abodes for variety of wildlife. The sanctuary runs parallel on the nothern side of Narmada river, which is the life line of Madhya pradesh. Towards the west of the sanctuary flows Kolar river. The area is famous as a natural recreation spot and also for wildlife lovers. The sanctuary consist of a beautiful forest and an impressive number of wildlife.

Camps are located in Delabadi, in Ratapani wildlife sanctuary, which is 60 kms from Bhopal on Rehti road approachable through NH-12 and 265 kms from Indore through NH-3.

Golden Grass loop trail: 3.5 Kms trail ideal for kids.

Holy river trail: 12 Kms trail for biking and a day long trip to witness holy Narmada river.

Ginnorgarh Fort

This historical fort standing on an isolated hill, about 1,127 metres long and 266 metres broad is situated approximately 4 km away from Delawadi.

Prisoners of War (POW) Camp

2 Kms from Delabadi, Prisoners of war camps were establish under the British Raj to keep the prisoners from second world war.

Bhimbetka

40 Kms from Delabadi, Bhimbetka is a World Heritage Site known to be a site of the second oldest cave paintings in the World. The location is beautiful, along the Satpura range of mountains. The area around the caves is forested, which adds to the natural beauty. The Bhimbetka rock shelters exhibit the earliest traces of human life in India; its Stone Age rock paintings are approximately 9,000 years old, making them among the worlds oldest.
