Day 1: Jhansi - Khajuraho
You arrive in Jhansi today. Drive to Khajuraho. Overnight stay in Khajuraho.
Day 2: Khajuraho
This morning visit the western and the eastern group of temples in Khajuraho.
The Western group of temples is the best known, because it is to this group that the largest and most typical Khajuraho temple belongs. Kandariya Mahadeo, Chaunsat Yogini, Chitragupta Temple, Vishwanath Temple and Lakshamana Temple belong to the western group.
In the eastern group, the temples are the Brahma temple, which has a four-faced lingam, The Vamana temple which is embellished with images of ravishing apsaras at their alluring best; and finally the Javari temple, with its ornate gateway and lavish carvings.
Later in the evening attend the dance festival.
You will be staying in Khajuraho tonight.
Day 3: Khajuraho
Siteseen in Khajuraho in the morning and later visit to Raneh Falls.
Raneh Falls is one of many marking the edge of the Rewa Plateau. In this wilderness, the river Ken has etched a canyon with several falls almost hidden in the canyon.
Return back to Khajuraho in the evening and witness the artists performing the Indian classical dances.
You will be staying overnight in Khajuraho.
Day 4: Khajuraho
Visit Pandav Falls and Panna National Park during the day.
Pandav Falls is a picturesque waterfall in a bowl-shaped valley on the Ken River. Later visit to Panna National Park.
Return back to Khajuraho in the evening and enjoy the dance shows.
You will be staying overnight in Khajuraho.
Day 5: Khajuraho - Orchha - Jhansi
Depart for Jhansi in the morning. On the way stopover at Orchha.
Orchha is a small town on the bank of river Betwa and is famous for temples that are built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries and still retain much of their pristine perfection.
After visiting Orchha, proceed to Jhansi for onward journey.
