Day 1: Pachmarhi
You arrive at Pachmarhi in the morning and check-in to a hotel. A group get-together is arranged for introduction with the team leader who will share the detail program for next several days of your trip.
In the afternoon we will be visiting Jata Shankar and Mahadeo.
Jata Shankar is sacred cave under a mass of loose boulders, located deep within a setting of astounding rock faces. These caves display the unique architecture of nature. Mahadeo cave is 30 meter long and water is always seeping inside the cave. The source of this water has been traced to a waterfall.
You may opt to spend rest of the evening strolling through the streets of Pachmarhi and look around the town. For your safety, we advice you not to venture in the jungle or cross the town limits in the night as the predators are on prowl once it is dark.
Day 2: Pachmarhi
This morning you will be visiting Pandav Cave, Rajendra Giri and Reechgarh.
Pandav Caves are the famous caves from which Pachmarhi takes its name. These caves are considered to be carved out during the Buddha period and are now protected monuments. Rajendra Giri is a high spot from where you can have panoramic views of Pachmarhi.
Reechgarh is the cave located in deep jungle. It is a very unique rock formation in the shape of a small amphitheatre with an entrance, an exit, a central podium and green room caves.
For rest of the evening sit back, relax, watch and enjoy the nature very closely.
Day 3: Pachmarhi
Today you will be visiting Bee fall, Apsara Vihar, Rajat Prapat and Dhupgarh.
The Bee Fall is the most accessible of all waterfalls in Pachmarhi. It is 450 feet down and the trek is about one km. Be extremely careful while trekking down, as the path leading to the waterfall is deep and steep. It is very exciting and the surrounding is extremely enchanting, quiet and thrilling.
Apsara Vihar, once regarded as the royal bathing pool for queens, is now an ideal picnic spot for families. The pool is shallow, deepening only towards the base of the fall which cascades gently into its waters. Rajat Pratap, a 10-minute walk over rocks and boulders from Apsara Vihar, is an ideal place. You can go down to the base of the Big Fall a trek down 350 feet to the base. It makes for one of the most thrilling experiences.
Dhuparh is another beautiful place in Pachmarhi and the highest point in the Satpura range. It commands a magnificent view of the surrounding ranges. You can enjoy astonishing sunset here.
Day 4: Pachmarhi
Today, in the morning, you will visit Handi koh, Priyadarshani, and Chauragarh.
Handi Khoh is an impressive ravine, which has 300 feet-high precipice, with really steep sides.
Priyadarshini (Forsyth Point) is vantage viewing point marks the place from where Pachmarhi was discovered by Captain Forsyth in 1857.
Chauragarh is one of Satpura's prominent landmarks, the summit crowned with emblems of Mahadeo worship, from where you can have a panoramic view of the entire Satpura range.
In the evening, we will be enjoying night trekking in Satpura range. This is an unimaginable experience that you will cherish all through your life.
